How does the Hook 6 perform?
Like its predecessor, the Hook 6 is an EN-B sail that retains maximum passive safety, just like a school sail, as well as very good pitch dampening, for example when going out on a stall, without sanitizing the sail.
But unlike a school sail, the Hook 6 offers more glide and is more maneuverable and responsive. The result is a sail that's as much fun as you want it to be, so you can progress with confidence.
What I like about Niviuk's Hook 6 :
What's amazing about this wing is that you can make it do just about anything you want: splash in calm air, thermaling on site, 100 km cross-country, introduction to acro, it can do almost anything. Of course, it retains all the performance of a B, but you can improve in all areas of flying with a single wing. It's the perfect glider for the progressing pilot looking for an all-round glider for maximum year-round enjoyment. Niviuk's success story, then, has been refined version after version, while retaining the hyper-versatility that has made it such a success.
